Nevada Republican Party Leadership Cuts and Runs
The Nevada Republican Party Convention was terminated before selection of delegates commenced due to the overwhelming number of Ron Paul supporters. The chairman, state Senator Bob Beers, cut the meeting short before election of delegates due to the “party’s contract with the casino expiring at 5pm.” Thus they would have to “reconvene” to vote on delegates.
The party leadership was reported to have cut and run from the conference hall, while the remaining party members stayed to try and achieve a quorum, to no avail.
Guess that’s the way the Republicans are handling those whom don’t conform to McCain’s rubbish.
